REMARKS :
Job Description : –
The Specialist is responsible for managing the discipline activity during project execution or Bid
phase ensuring that corporate and project procedures are correctly applied and that project
deliverables are issued according to the schedule and within approved menhours budget.

Duties and Responsibilities Details : –
 Review and comment of technical annexes included in the contract; in case of discrepancies,
mistakes or deficiencies in the documents, develop a list of clarifications/comments to be submitted
to the respective Discipline Coordinator/Lead and subsequently to the PEM;
 Prepare the applicable standards and technical specifications if they are not included in the
contract technical documentation;
 Management of discipline men-hours, promptly reporting any disruptions and/or any additional
requirements to PEM;
 Attendance in relevant meetings as kick off meeting and project review meeting;
 Attendance to meeting with Client, if requested;
 Produce and Act as discipline approver the Commissioning project deliverables list, including
checks required by the other disciplines;
 Check of subcontracted discipline engineering documents and Vendor information reviews;
 Establish and maintain effective interface between the commissioning project team and other
disciplines teams, Project Management, Client representative;
 Ensure adequate flow of design information to the other members of the design team;
 Examine the contractual Vendor List with the Procurement Department;
 Provide assistance during procurement, construction and commissioning activities;
 Provide progress reporting and forecasting input to the Project Controls Department;
 Ensure working procedures are followed and that compliance with relevant QA/QC systems is
achieved.
 Ensure deliverables quality in term of technical content, compliance with design criteria,
international standards and contractual requirements.
 Monitor of design discrepancies between detail phase and bidding phase (quantities and
equipment dimensions).
 Make available interdisciplinary technical information as required by other disciplines and
according to project schedule.
 Provide Vendor follow-up technical support, if required by other disciplines.
 Provide Client follow-up technical support, if required by PEM.
 Ensure technical support during bidding phase and men-hours estimation.
 Responsible to develop the 3D Model specific area and support to 3D Model Coordinator according
to 3D Model Procedure

Work Experience Requirements : –
 Commissioning Engineer with a minimum stay of 3 years in the role being able to
preside individually the full life cycle of a EPC project.
 Consolidate knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of Commissioning,
Completion and Handover process and accurate competences of techniques and
tools.
 Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, planning and
organizing ability, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, leadership qualities and
efficient team management skills, adaptability and stress tolerance

Education Requirements : –
 Laurea Magistrale and/or Specialistica (as well Chartered Engineer, A-levels + 5 years’
study) or Laurea Triennale (as well Higher National Diploma HND or Certificate HNC, Alevels
+ 3 years’ study, BTS/DUT or equivalent).
 Diploma
