Fabricator - Philippines National Only With Transferable Iqama
JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and welding metal components to produce structures, equipment, and assemblies according to engineering drawings and project specifications, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Read, interpret, and analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to plan fabrication work effectively.
Measure, cut, bend, and shape metal sheets, pipes, and other components using hand tools, power tools, and machines as per specifications.
Perform welding (MIG, TIG, Arc) and other joining processes, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with project standards.
Assemble fabricated components into complete structures, frameworks, or equipment, ensuring proper alignment and fit.
Inspect raw materials and completed components for quality, defects, and adherence to project standards, and report discrepancies.
Maintain and operate fabrication machinery, tools, and welding equipment safely, performing routine maintenance to prevent downtime.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other trades to ensure timely completion of fabrication tasks and resolve on-site issues.
Follow company safety protocols, local regulatory standards, and occupational health guidelines at all times.
Repair, modify, or reinforce existing metal structures or fabricated components as required by project changes or damage.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and production output, and submit reports to supervisors promptly.
QUALIFICATION:
Higher Secondary School Certificate (minimum requirement).
Technical Diploma in Fabrication, Welding, Metalwork, or related technical field.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in metal fabrication, welding, or related construction work.
Experience with MIG, TIG, and Arc welding, and assembling metal structures.
COMPETENCIES:
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
Skilled in various welding techniques and fabrication processes.
Knowledge of metals, tools, and fabrication machinery.
Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements.
Problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
Awareness of safety standards and regulations.
Effective time management to meet project deadlines.
