MECHANICAL TECHNICIANS
Qualification:
Diploma Certification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field. • Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in BHS, logistics automation, or conveyor systems. • Proficiency in mechanical assembly, alignment, and troubleshooting. • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, layout diagrams, and maintenance manuals. • Hands-on experience with safety practices, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and Mechanical troubleshooting. • Basic knowledge of CMMS software and reporting tools. • Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Scope of Work:
• Monitor BHS operations and respond promptly to system alerts, jams, or stoppages. • Conduct daily inspections, preventive maintenance, and mechanical servicing of BHS equipment. • Perform mechanical repairs and adjustments on conveyors, belts, rollers, gearboxes, motors, and other moving components. • Identify signs of wear, alignment issues, or mechanical faults and take corrective actions. • Replace defective parts such as bearings, chains, shafts, couplings, and belts. • Ensure proper lubrication and tensioning of moving parts according to the maintenance schedule. • Document maintenance activities in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
