A new Automotive workshop in Al Khodariyah is looking for a GEAR MECHANIC – AUTOMATIC AND CVT GEAR

Diesel Mechanic

Diagnosis: Use specialized diagnostic tools and software to identify problems with the complex electronic and hydraulic systems of CVTs.
Repair & Maintenance:
Fluid Changes: Perform routine maintenance, including changing CVT fluids to prevent overheating and slipping.
Component Replacement: Disassemble transmissions, replace worn-out or damaged parts like belts, chains, and pulley components.
Reassembly: Reassemble transmissions with precision, ensuring all parts are correctly placed, especially critical components like shrouds and shift shafts.
Testing: Perform road tests after repairs to ensure the transmission is functioning correctly and the original issue is resolved.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities performed.
Staying Current: Continuously learn about advancements in CVT technology, which is crucial given the rapid evolution of automotive electronics and mechanics.
Required Skills & Tools
Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of both traditional mechanical principles and the specific electronic and hydraulic controls of CVTs.
Diagnostic Equipment: Proficient use of computer-based diagnostic tools and software for analyzing transmission issues.
Hand Tools: Competence with various hand tools, including wrenches andAllen keys, to disassemble and reassemble components.
Lifting Equipment: Ability to use jacks and hoists to safely maneuver heavy transmission systems.

Work Timings: 8.00 AM to 12.00 PM And 2.00 PM TO 7.30 PM

Salary: Based upon interview.
