Pipe Fabricator (Aramco Experience)

A skilled Pipe Fabricator with extensive experience working on Saudi Aramco projects, responsible for reading and interpreting drawings, fabricating piping components, ensuring compliance with Aramco standards, and supporting construction/maintenance activities on industrial sites such as oil & gas plants, refineries, and petrochemical facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Read, interpret, and understand isometric drawings, P&IDs, spool drawings, and GA drawings as per Aramco requirements.

Measure, cut, bevel, and prepare pipes according to project specifications and fabrication standards.

Fabricate pipe spools, supports, and fittings according to ASME, AWS, and Saudi Aramco specifications.

Conduct pipe alignment, tack welding support, and fit-up before final welding.

Use fabrication tools such as grinders, cutters, beveling machines, and pipe alignment tools.

Ensure materials used are correct per Bill of Materials (BOM) and spool sheets.

Coordinate with welders, QA/QC inspectors, and supervisors for fabrication approvals.

Follow Aramco safety rules, job hazard analysis (JHA), and permit-to-work procedures.

Perform site measurements and prepare spools when shop drawings need modification.

Ensure all fabrication work meets quality standards and tolerances.

Maintain housekeeping and safe work practices at worksite or fabrication shop.
