MACHINERY COORDINATOR
The Machinery Coordinator in China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) is responsible for the planning, allocation, monitoring, and maintenance coordination of construction machinery and equipment to ensure smooth site operations, optimal utilization, and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate mobilization and demobilization of machinery to and from construction sites
Plan and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly equipment requirements in coordination with project teams
Maintain accurate equipment records, including usage, location, and availability
Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs with workshop/mechanics
Ensure machinery is certified, calibrated, and fit for operation
Track fuel consumption, breakdowns, and downtime
Arrange third-party equipment rentals when required and monitor performance
Ensure operators are licensed and authorized to operate assigned machinery
Monitor compliance with HSE standards, company policies, and legal requirements
Prepare equipment utilization reports and cost summaries
Coordinate with Procurement, HSE, Site Engineers, and Project Managers
Assist in equipment inspections and audits
Requirements & Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction equipment coordination
Strong knowledge of heavy machinery (cranes, excavators, loaders, generators, etc.)
Familiarity with maintenance schedules and equipment documentation
Good understanding of construction site safety standards (HSE)
Proficient in MS Excel and reporting
Strong coordination and communication skills
Working Conditions
Based at construction site / head office with frequent site visits
May require extended working hours depending on project needs
