Electro-Mechanical Engineer

Position: Electro-Mechanical Engineer
Location: Project Site
Reporting To: Project Manager / MEP Lead

Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and quantity take-offs for electrical and mechanical works
2. Read, review, and interpret electrical & mechanical drawings, including layouts, SLDs, P&IDs, schematics, and specifications
3.Execute and supervise electrical and mechanical installations such as power, lighting, HVAC, piping, plumbing, firefighting, and
equipment installation
4. Manage site preparation activities including material planning, manpower allocation, and work sequencing
5. Coordinate electro-mechanical works to avoid clashes and ensure smooth site execution
6. Supervise site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, quality standards, and project specifications
7. Prepare material requisitions and assist in procurement planning
8. Monitor site progress, productivity, and workmanship quality
9. Support testing, commissioning, and system handover activities
10. Ensure adherence to HSE requirements and company safety policies
11. Prepare site reports, progress updates, and assist in as-built documentation

Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electro-Mechanical / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 3–6 years experience in electro-mechanical site execution (EPC / construction projects preferred)
Strong experience in BOQ preparation and quantity take-off
Good understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, drawings, and specifications
Hands-on experience in site supervision and execution
Knowledge of applicable electrical and mechanical codes and standards
Good coordination and communication skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD (preferred)

Preferred Skills:
Experience in MEP, industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects
Familiarity with testing & commissioning procedures
Ability to manage multi-discipline site activities independently
