Design Manager Architecture
Job Role:
• Lead architectural design development from concept to detailed design stage
• Manage design consultants to deliver designs from concept to Issue for Construction stages
• Ensure compliance with Employer’s requirements, applicable legislation, codes, standards, and
health & safety considerations
• Review and approve design consultant’s change proposals
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to plan, manage, and monitor design progress
• Support stakeholder engagement and ensure integration among designers for cohesive designs
• Oversee the design review process in collaboration with the Design Review Manager
• Manage design-related risks and contribute to risk management plans
• Promote innovation and share best practices among consultants
• Leverage the Technical Excellence team for design standards and guidelines
• Ensure design objectives are met by coordinating with other departments
• Present design proposals and progress updates to clients and senior Management
• Address client feedback and ensure timely incorporation into design
• Facilitate construction changes and resolve design issues with the construction team
• Provide technical guidance during construction phase
Skills:
• Lead multi-disciplinary coordination and BIM workflows minimum experience 10 years
• Experience managing design and/or construction of complex projects with a strong architectural
focus
• Quality Assurance / Time Management skills
• Excellent Analytical and Communication skills
• Strong knowledge of international and local building codes
• Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
• Budget and schedule awareness
• Risk management and problem solving
• Excellent presentation skills
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• 10 years of experience as a Design Manager Architecture
• Strong design sensibility and technical expertise
• Proficiency in REVIT, BIM and others discipline software’s and Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of construction industry practices and standards
NOTE:
• Nationality : ONLY JORDANIAN or INDIAN or PHILLIPINE National
• For Expatriates must have 3-months Valid and Transferable Iqama.
• No Visa.
