Lead Thermal Engineer

Job Description:
Prepare/review & optimize thermal design for heat exchange systems as required in the most efficient way with best practices and standards using manual methods as well as HTRI software as per specific requirement. Also, be aware of basic mechanical design requirements.

Required Skills:
Relevant experience in Thermal Design for at least Fifteen to twenty (15-20) years.
Experience in Saudi Aramco projects is desirable.
Familiar with ISO-9001 Quality System and other industry-based quality control and safety directives used in the organization
Knowledge of Codes and Standards and client specifications.
Knowledge of relevant Saudi Aramco specifications.
Knowledge of Engineering processes and materials.
Proficiency in using software like HTRI, MS Office,
Internet, Artificial intelligence
Responsibilities:
Preparation/review & optimization of thermal design with the knowledge and fundamentals as below:
Vibrations/two phase flow instability in equipment
Thermosiphon reboilers and its piping loop optimization connected to column Kettle reboilers operation
Knowledgeable about various boiling mechanism prevalent in process reboilers
Condensation mechanism and handling of low-pressure/vacuum operations
Knowledge about steam/condensate systems
Single phase systems including high pressure gas and liquid especially high viscous optimization of allowable pressure drop
Awareness of performance shortfalls
Knowledgeable about availability of other heat exchange systems in general
Communicate and Coordinate with Client for timely approval of Engineering Documents and resolve Engineering issues during PO stage.
Attend meetings with client and internal stakeholders as and when required during the project.
Provide preliminary design required during estimations and bidding stage.
Ability to review of as-built drawings and isometric drawings of reboilers.
