Job Description

A qualified Static Mechanical QC Inspector responsible for inspection, testing, and quality control of static mechanical equipment in oil & gas / industrial projects.

📌 Key Responsibilities:
Perform inspection of static equipment such as pressure vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers, columns, and piping systems.
Review and verify material certificates (MTC), drawings, and specifications.
Ensure all works comply with ITP (Inspection Test Plan) and approved procedures.
Conduct inspections during fabrication, erection, and installation stages.
Witness and verify NDT activities (RT, UT, PT, MT) and hydrostatic tests.
Check fit-up, welding, alignment, and dimensional tolerances.
Ensure compliance with Aramco standards, ASME, API, and international codes.
Raise and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and follow up corrective actions.
Prepare inspection reports, QA/QC documentation, and punch lists.
Coordinate with client inspectors, contractors, and site teams.

✅ Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in QC inspection (Oil & Gas preferred).

Strong knowledge of static equipment inspection.
Familiar with Saudi Aramco standards (preferred).
Certification in NDT (ASNT Level II) is an advantage.

Experience in Aramco-approved projects preferred.
