Warehouse Optimization Expert (Short-Term Contract) Duration: 1–2 Months Work Mode: Hybrid
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Optimization Expert to support short-term initiatives aimed at improving warehouse efficiency, inventory control, and material handling practices. The expert will design and implement structured inventory policies, develop monitoring tools, and optimize warehouse layout and bin codification.
Key Responsibilities
Develop inventory replenishment policies and establish Min, Max, and Re-order levels for stocked materials.
Design and implement an Inventory Optimization Dashboard to monitor stock levels, consumption trends, and replenishment triggers.
Develop a Purchase Requisition (PR) tracking system to monitor procurement progress and lead time performance.
Analyze warehouse material categories and movement patterns to optimize aisle, rack, and shelf layout.
Define and standardize bin codification structures aligned with material category, size, and movement velocity (fast/slow-moving items).
Provide practical recommendations to improve warehouse space utilization, accessibility, and inventory accuracy.
Required Experience
Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain optimization.
Strong knowledge of inventory control methods (Min/Max, reorder point, safety stock).
Experience designing warehouse layouts, storage strategies, and bin location systems.
Ability to develop operational dashboards and tracking tools (Excel, BI tools, or ERP systems).
Familiarity with procurement workflows and lead time analysis.
