Central And Network Technici
The Central and Network Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting central office and network infrastructure equipment. This role ensures the seamless operation of voice, data, and video services by maintaining switches, routers, servers, and communication systems. The technician provides both on-site and remote support to ensure high availability and performance of network systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and maintain central office equipment including switches, routers, servers, modems, and multiplexers.
• Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure for optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair network faults or outages in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with service providers and vendors for network provisioning and escalated support.
• Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery operations.
• Ensure network security through firewalls, access controls, and patch management.
• Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.
• Support end-users with connectivity and network-related issues.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on network and central office equipment.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to after-hours network issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Diploma or degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in central office or network technician roles.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routing, VLANs, etc.
• Experience with switches, routers (Cisco, Juniper, etc.), and firewalls.
• Familiarity with central office systems (e.g., VoIP PBX, TDM switching, fiber optics).
• Ability to interpret technical schematics, diagrams, and manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
