Diesel & Hydraulic Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our [Maintenance/Workshop/Field Service] team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and transmissions, and possess crucial knowledge and hands-on experience in hydraulic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive diagnostics, repair, and overhaul of diesel engines (e.g., Cummins, Caterpillar, Perkins, etc.) and associated systems.

Conduct maintenance and repair work on heavy-duty transmissions (manual and automatic).

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex hydraulic systems, including pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, and hoses, across various heavy equipment or machinery.

Perform routine preventive maintenance (PMs) and inspections on fleet/equipment.

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.

Adhere strictly to all safety and environmental regulations.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum of [5] years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, or similar role.

Proven expertise in both diesel engine and transmission diagnostics and repair.

Essential: Strong working knowledge of hydraulic circuits, components, and troubleshooting.
