We manage a high-volume portfolio of drop shipping stores and need a meticulous Drop Shipping Inventory Controller to own our end-to-end inventory health. You’ll ensure real-time sync accuracy, optimize stock levels, prevent revenue loss from overselling, and build resilient supplier workflows. This role is critical to scaling profitably.
Key Responsibilities
Real-Time Inventory Sync: Monitor and maintain 99%+ sync accuracy between suppliers and all stores (Shopify, WooCommerce).
Demand Forecasting: Predict inventory needs using sales trends, seasonality, and marketing calendars.
Audit supplier stock levels daily.
Negotiate restock timelines and safety stock buffers.
Flag unreliable suppliers and source backups.
System Management: Configure/maintain inventory tools (DSers, Inventory Source, SKUVault).
Overselling Prevention: Implement failsafes for low-stock products and sudden surges.
Reporting: Generate daily reports on stock health, sync errors, and supplier performance.
Process Optimization: Automate inventory workflows and reduce manual tasks.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience:
2–3 years in inventory management (ecommerce/drop shipping preferred).
Mastery of inventory tools (Cin7, Ordoro, or drop shipping apps like AutoDS).
Skills:
Analytical: Advanced Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
Tech-Savvy: Experience with APIs, automation (Zapier), and ERP systems.
Detail-Oriented: Zero tolerance for sync errors or overselling.
Mindset: Proactive problem-solver who anticipates supply chain risks.
Bonus Points For
Experience with global suppliers (AliExpress, CJdropshipping).
Knowledge of customs/duties for international shipping.
SQL/data visualization (Tableau, Power BI) skills.
