Review engineering drawings, fabrication isometrics, and technical specifications to define project scope.
Prepare accurate cost estimates covering materials, labor, machining, welding, painting, assembly, and logistics.
Perform quantity take-offs and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Estimate fabrication and erection man-hours and develop BOQs and cost breakdown sheets.
Coordinate with procurement, production, design, and project teams to ensure estimation accuracy.
Identify cost optimization and value engineering opportunities.
Support tendering, bidding, post-award budgeting, and ongoing cost control while maintaining cost databases and rates.
