JOB DESCRIPTION:

Perform installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of substation equipment including:

Circuit breakers (GIS & AIS)

Disconnectors & isolators

Current & potential transformers (CT/PT)

Busbars and switchgear

Control panels and protection relays

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for HV/MV equipment.

Assist in the preparation of single-line diagrams, wiring layouts, and asset documentation.

Conduct site inspections and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability.

Integrate substation equipment with SCADA/DMS systems where applicable.

Ensure compliance with SEC and IEC standards and implement safety procedures during all activities.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance, testing, and commissioning activities.

Collaborate with engineering, operations, and project teams to support substation projects.
