Mechanical Engineer Equipment And Vehicle Maintenance

We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to oversee the maintenance and repair of company vehicles and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, minimizing downtime, and implementing effective maintenance strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for all vehicles and equipment.
Diagnose mechanical issues and recommend practical repair solutions.
Supervise technicians and maintenance staff during routine and emergency repairs.
Ensure proper documentation of maintenance logs, inspections, and repairs.
Monitor performance of mechanical systems and suggest upgrades or replacements.
Coordinate procurement of spare parts and liaise with external service providers.
Enforce adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Prepare reports and assist in maintenance budgeting.
Provide technical input for the acquisition and commissioning of new equipment.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in vehicle and equipment maintenance.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Experience in handling heavy machinery is a plus.
Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) is preferred.
Good communication and team leadership skills.
Transferable Iqama.
Valid driving license (preferred).
