Procurement Specialist For A Logistic Company

A well-established logistics company in Saudi Arabia is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to manage sourcing and purchasing activities efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, supporting smooth logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to ensure best terms.
Prepare and issue purchase orders and follow up on deliveries.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and operations teams.
Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and reports.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Evaluate supplier performance and build strong vendor relationships.
Coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely payments and resolve invoice issues.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2–4 years of procurement experience, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
Transferable Iqama is preferred (for non-Saudis).
