JOB DESCRIPTION – QA/QC INSPECTOR (WELDING) – ARAMCO APPROVED

Position: QA/QC Inspector – Welding
Approval: Saudi Aramco Approved
Location: FADHLI
Duration: Long Term
Employment Type: Rental Basis

Job Responsibilities:

Inspect welding activities in accordance with approved ITPs, WPS, codes, and project specifications.

Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, SAES, SAEP, and international codes (ASME, AWS).

Review and verify WPS, PQR, and Welder Qualification Records (WQT).

Monitor fit-up, welding processes, and visual inspection before, during, and after welding.

Coordinate with NDT teams and review NDT reports (RT, UT, MT, PT).

Raise NCRs for non-conformances and follow up on corrective actions.

Maintain proper inspection records, reports, and documentation.

Participate in client inspections and audits.

Ensure adherence to HSE requirements during welding activities.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Saudi Aramco Approval (Mandatory)

CSWIP 3.1 / AWS CWI Certification (Mandatory)

Minimum 5–7 years of experience in welding inspection

Strong knowledge of welding codes and standards

Experience in oil & gas / petrochemical projects

Good communication and reporting skills
