Job Summary: The Dining Area Steward/Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the impeccable cleanliness and presentation of the cafe’s dining areas, restrooms, and customer-facing spaces, ensuring a luxurious and hygienic experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Promptly clear and clean tables after guest departure, sanitizing surfaces and resetting cutlery, napkins, and table accessories according to the café’s luxury standards.

2. Sweep, vacuum, and mop all dining room and high-traffic floor areas regularly throughout the shift, addressing spills immediately.

3. Ensure all guest and staff restrooms are consistently stocked, sanitized, and maintained to the highest levels of hygiene and presentation.

4. Efficiently collect, sort, and dispose of all trash and recycling from the dining area, service stations, and restrooms.

5. Polish glassware, silverware, and serving ware to ensure they are spotless and ready for service, inspecting for any chips or damage.

6. Wipe down and maintain chairs, booths, and decorative fixtures, ensuring all surfaces are free of dust, fingerprints, and debris.

7. Clean and maintain any beverage stations, serving carts, and public water stations as required.

8. Keep service stations stocked with necessary cleaning chemicals, paper products, and linens, reporting low inventory to the supervisor.

9. Handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly, strictly adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and Saudi labor regulations.

10. Adhere strictly to all Saudi Arabian food safety and public health regulations related to restaurant cleanliness and hygiene.

Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in cleaning/steward duties, preferably within a luxury hotel, high-end restaurant, or upscale café environment.

2. Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 20 kg), and perform continuous physical tasks throughout a scheduled shift.

3. Meticulous approach to work, with a keen eye for cleanliness, organization, and maintaining a consistently high standard of presentation.

4. Proven reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to the job.

5. Basic working knowledge of English or Arabic is required to understand instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors.
