Safety Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Safety Officer to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor workplace safety policies and procedures

Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments

Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions

Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations

Provide safety training and toolbox talks to employees

Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports

Maintain safety documentation and records

Promote a strong safety culture across the organization

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field

Proven experience as a Safety Officer or similar role

Knowledge of safety regulations and standards

Strong observation, communication, and reporting skills

Ability to work independently and proactively

Relevant safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are an advantage
