Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments on-site.
Provide training and guidance to employees regarding safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations and standards.
Collaborate with project managers to ensure safety practices are integrated throughout the project lifecycle.
Promote a positive safety culture through safety awareness campaigns and training sessions.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management, preferably in the construction industry.
Professional certification such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent is required.
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in construction.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse teams.
Proficient in conducting safety training and developing safety communication materials.
Ability to analyze data and prepare reports for management on safety trends and performance.
