Sr. Quantity Surveyor / Cost Control Engineer (Mechanical)

• Responsible for preparing, verifying and monitoring of weekly and monthly progress.
• Preparing monthly interim payment invoices, BOQ claim annexure for client’s approval.
• EPC Billing Schedule, Control Budget, Cash flow, Flash report on Profitability analysis.
• Prepare Material Take Off, Bill of Quantities in accordance with Preambles and project specifications.
• Monitoring the interim payments within the forecasted limit prior reporting to Contracts Manager
• To monitor the performance of awarded subcontracts, checking and agreeing the accuracy of monthly payment applications during the life of the subcontract and at completion of the work.
• Verify the Sub-Contractors monthly Bills and Issuing payment certificates.
• Evaluating and finalizing the Variation /Change Order to obtain the proposed cost within the budget.
• Extended knowledge in Project Dwgs, Construction plans understanding, Value Engineering, Key Cost Control techniques and Contracting arrangements.
• Responsible for the Cost related activity for all project items through ERP system including vendor/sub-contractor negotiation, preparation of Work Order with condition of contract.
• Monitored the Cost of the project within the budgeted cost and timely notifying the over cost items.
• Activities designed to measure the project status and Cost control procedures throughout the duration of the project.
• Prepared the Cost Estimates of additional works submitted by Subcontractors and Estimating the Client’s periodical Contract Trend Notice (CTN) to forecast the additional claim in the contract.
• Attended the meeting with Contractors and Subcontractors and resolving the disputed items pending in new prices and in Change work orders
• Attended the weekly Project Meeting, explaining and sorting out the Commercial/ Contractual related issues in the on-going projects.
• Preparation of Cost Control procedures.
• Preparation of risk registers discussing with the stake holders for the mitigation plan.
