Surface Preparation:
Inspect and clean surfaces (walls, floors, ceilings) before tiling.
Apply leveling compounds or adhesives as needed.
Ensure surfaces are even, clean, and ready for tile installation.
• Tile Cutting and Shaping:
Cut tiles using manual tools or electric tile cutters.
Shape tiles to fit around obstacles (pipes, corners, etc.).
Match patterns and ensure symmetry in design.
• Tile Installation:
Lay tiles using appropriate adhesive materials (mortar, mastic, etc.).
Align and space tiles evenly using spacers or levels.
Press tiles into position and ensure surface is flat and consistent.
• Grouting and Finishing:
Apply grout between tiles after installation.
Clean excess grout and polish tile surfaces.
Seal tiles or grout lines if required.
• Material Handling:
Measure and estimate materials needed for each job.
Safely store and transport tiles, tools, and other materials.
• Safety and Compliance:
Follow safety protocols on site (PPE, handling tools, etc.).
Adhere to local building codes and company standards.
Report any hazards or quality issues to the supervisor.
• Quality Control:
Check completed work for alignment, finish, and durability.
Repair broken or misaligned tiles as necessary
