Warehouse Supervisor
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. The role involves supervising warehouse staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting smooth supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management.
Ensure proper documentation of inward and outward materials.
Maintain FIFO/FEFO procedures where applicable.
Conduct regular stock counts and assist in physical inventory audits.
Ensure proper storage conditions to maintain product quality.
Supervise warehouse staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
Maintain discipline, safety, and cleanliness within the warehouse.
Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales departments for smooth material flow.
Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to management immediately.
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Optimize warehouse space utilization and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
3–5 years of warehouse experience, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG industry.
Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (ERP).
Good leadership and team management skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of safety standards and warehouse best practices.
Basic computer proficiency (Excel, ERP systems).
