Waste Management Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and responsible Waste Management Supervisor to oversee and manage all waste collection, segregation, recycling, and disposal activities. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards, and company policies while leading operational teams to achieve efficient and sustainable waste management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily waste collection, transportation, and disposal operations.

Ensure proper segregation, recycling, and handling of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.

Monitor compliance with environmental laws, health & safety regulations, and company procedures.

Train and supervise waste management staff and contractors.

Prepare operational reports, schedules, and performance evaluations.

Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure cleanliness and environmental compliance.

Coordinate with municipalities, recycling companies, and licensed disposal facilities.

Implement improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and sustainability.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field (preferred).

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in waste management or environmental services.

Strong knowledge of waste management regulations and environmental standards.

Leadership and team management skills.

Good communication and reporting skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple operations.

Relevant certifications in HSE or environmental management are an advantage.
