🔹 Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist with strong experience in the Steel Industry / Manufacturing to manage the complete procurement cycle, supplier relationships, negotiations, contracts, and cost optimization.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of steel procurement, international trade, material specifications, supplier management, and strategic sourcing.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for raw materials, consumables, spare parts, and maintenance items
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
• Monitor inventory levels and consumption patterns to prevent stockouts and excess inventory
• Coordinate with Quality Control to ensure materials meet required specifications and standards
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies
• Analyze procurement decisions for cost-effectiveness and long-term value
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives
• Support continuous improvement of procurement and supply chain processes
🔹 Candidate Requirements
✅ 5–8 years of total procurement experience
✅ Minimum 5 years of experience in the Steel Industry – Mandatory
✅ Procurement experience in manufacturing preferred
✅ Knowledge of international trade and business processes
✅ Strong knowledge of material codes and specifications
✅ Excellent English communication skills
✅ Strong negotiation skills, particularly with multinational suppliers
✅ Analytical and data-driven approach
✅ Excellent organizational and time-management skills
✅ Strong supplier relationship management capabilities
