Civil Work Supervisor

Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities (excavation, concrete works, structural works, etc.)
Ensure work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and workers on-site
Monitor project progress and report updates to project managers
Enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with regulations
Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure quality control
Manage labor, equipment, and site resources efficiently
Resolve on-site issues and delays quickly
Maintain site records (daily reports, logs, inspections)
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and plans

Knowledge of safety standards and regulations
Good communication and coordination skills
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Proven experience in construction or civil works supervision
Familiarity with construction software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project is often prefared
Work Environment
Primarily on construction sites (outdoor work in varying conditions)
May require long hours depending on project deadlines
Frequent interaction with workers, engineers, and project stakeholders
