ESTIMATION AND COSTING ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and commercial proposals for Oil & Gas projects.
Review RFQs, technical specifications, drawings, and tender documents.
Conduct quantity take-offs for civil, mechanical, piping, and maintenance works.
Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and pricing.
Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontracting costs.
Prepare project budgets, cost comparisons, and pricing summaries.
Support bidding, tender submission, and contract documentation activities.
Monitor project costs and assist in cost control during project execution.
Coordinate with project, procurement, and planning teams for accurate estimation.
Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco and client standards where applicable.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Civil / Industrial or related field).
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in estimation and costing within the Oil & Gas industry.
Experience in Saudi Arabia and familiarity with Saudi Aramco projects is preferred.
Strong knowledge of industrial construction, piping, civil, and maintenance works.
Proficient in MS Office, Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
Good analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tender deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards and procedures.
Experience in EPC, shutdown, maintenance, or industrial projects.
Strong commercial and technical understanding.
