GCMS Operator
We are seeking a skilled GCMS Operator to perform chemical analysis using Gas Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing fragrance oils, ensuring quality control, and supporting product development.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain Gas Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) systems
Prepare samples of perfume oils, raw materials, and finished products
Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of fragrance compounds
Interpret chromatograms and mass spectra accurately
Maintain calibration, logs, and documentation of all tests
Troubleshoot instrument issues and coordinate servicing if required
Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards
Support R&D and quality control teams with analytical data
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Diploma in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related field
1–3 years of experience in GC-MS operation (preferably in fragrance or chemical industry)
Strong knowledge of analytical techniques and lab practices
Experience in handling fragrance oils is an advantage
Good documentation and reporting skills
