Mobile Laptop Spare Parts Specialist
Job Summary:
The Spare Parts Specialist is responsible for managing, sourcing, and controlling spare parts inventory to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, maintaining stock levels, and supporting maintenance or technical teams with timely availability of required parts.
Key Responsibilities:
– Manage and monitor spare parts inventory levels
– Source and procure spare parts from approved suppliers
– Track orders, deliveries, and stock movements
– Ensure proper storage and handling of spare parts
– Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
– Coordinate with maintenance and technical teams to identify parts requirements
– Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies
– Identify critical spare parts and ensure availability at all times
– Optimize inventory levels to reduce excess and avoid shortages
– Prepare reports on inventory status, usage, and forecasts
Requirements:
– Proven experience in spare parts management, inventory control, or procurement
– Strong knowledge of inventory systems and ERP software
– Good understanding of technical parts (automotive, electronics, or industrial depending on business)
– Excellent organizational and analytical skills
– Attention to detail and accuracy
– Good communication and negotiation skills
– Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
– Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in related field
– Experience in maintenance, automotive, or electronics industry
– Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems
– Knowledge of forecasting and demand planning
