Procurement Officer

Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full procurement cycle including sourcing, RFQ/RFP, evaluation, negotiation, and purchase order issuance
Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery
Conduct price comparisons and cost analysis to achieve optimal purchasing decisions
Coordinate with project, engineering, and warehouse teams to ensure material requirements are met
Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and project requirements
Track orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
Prepare procurement reports, documentation, and maintain accurate records
Handle contract negotiations and support contract management processes
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 3–5 years of procurement experience, preferably in construction / engineering / overseas projects
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Good understanding of procurement procedures and contract terms
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
Experience with ERP systems is an advantage
Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in the Middle East or international projects
Knowledge of local supplier markets
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
