QC - Telecom ( Non Aramco ) - Rate 30 SAR ( Indian Only ) - Project 2-3 Years
Inspector shall demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of telecommunications in the field of OSP (Outside Plant) installation as well as PDS (Premise Distribution System installation, and be familiar with North American or International Telecommunications Standards; Building Industry Consulting Services International – Telecommunications Distribution Methods Manual (BICSI-TDMM); National Electrical Codes; and National Electrical Safety Codes, or their equivalents.
2. Reporting to QC supervisor. 3. Must have a good skill and knowledge in Saudi Aramco Engineering standards -T-series 4. Raise RFI as per Inspection & Test Plan and obtain clearance from Client. 5. Inspect work as per Client Specification, Standards, Method statement & IFC Drawings. 6. Review reports and documentation and verify, upon completion of the work, that all requirements have been met and that the required Quality records have been filed. 7. Ensure inspection of Telecom materials received prior to use at site. 8. Witness field tests (OTDR/SPLICING etc), as applicable and verify results for adequacy.
9. Verify calibration status of Monitoring & Measuring Equipment.
10. Ensure the Inspection coverage of all Instrument ongoing construction & completion activities. 11. Identify the Non-confirming activity during the project execution and raise the Internal NCR,s and ensure its proper closure in time. 12. Find out Root cause for the non – conformances and implement and monitor necessary corrective actions effectively. 13. Identify and prepare Preventive actions reports and Proactive Notifications. Responsible for Telecom Punch point and Hold point clearance
14. Demonstrated thorough knowledge of WORK related engineering codes and standards, such as BICSI TDMM & OSPDRM; ANSI/NFPA 70 (NEC), 70E & 496; ITU-T, EIA/TIA, ANSI/IEEE, ANSI/NEMA, SBC 401 (IEC 60364), IEC 60079 (IECEx scheme); API RP 500 & 505; SASO/IEC, UL and ASTM
