SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
A Senior Accountant oversees complex accounting activities, prepares financial statements, ensures GAAP compliance, and mentors junior staff. They handle month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial analysis, often recommending process improvements to management. Key requirements include a BS in Accounting/Finance, CPA/CMA certification, and strong ERP system experience.
Responsibilities
• Financial Reporting & Closing: Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes; prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
• General Ledger & Reconciliations: Maintain the general ledger, perform complex bank/account reconciliations, and handle intercompany transactions.
• Compliance & Audit: Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or IFRS, and coordinate with external auditors.
• Analysis & Forecasting: Analyze financial data, trends, and variances to support budgeting and forecasting.
• Internal Controls & Process Improvement: Review and update internal accounting policies, recommend improvements for efficiency.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Supervise or mentor junior accounting staff (e.g., AP/AR clerks) and review their work.

Required Qualifications & Skills
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience: Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role (typically 3–5+ years).
• Certifications:ACCA, CPA or CMA is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks,Odoo,) and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Analytical Abilities: Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a high level of integrity.
• Transferable Iqama/can join Immediately
